Imaginary Boyfriend Thursday... Big and Scottish Edition

Have we talked about how much I lovelovelove Game of Thrones?

It's true.  I'm a big ol' nerd for it.  It tickles the same nerd fancy Lord of the Rings does.  My big, epic, swash-buckling, nerd fancy just can't help itself.  Put some dudes in armor and have them fight to the death over a ring or a throne or a dragon egg, and I will ride or die.

So I was working and, you know, minding my own business, and thinking about Game of Thrones, and thinking specifically about my most favoritest character, Sandor Clegane...

Okay... Sandor's face is scarred because his older brother, this asshole named  Gregor, held his head in a fire when they were younger and now he is scared of fire.  He wears a helmet that looks like a dog's head and his nickname is "The Hound".  He is amazeballs.

...and then I was thinking about the actor that plays Sandor...

Rory McCann. You guys, he was a fucking lumberjack. For realsies

...and then I was thinking about how tall and big and Scottish he is (6'6" you guys!)... and I thought "I could just climb him like a tree."  And then I Google image searched him and found that someone had already made this:

So thank you to whoever you are!  We just experienced a Rory McCann-sponsored mind meld!  We are spirit animals and probably best friends! We could braid each other's hair and write love letters to Rory while listening to Jodeci!

But eventually I will murder you in your sleep because, bitch, he's mine.

  1. Hhmm no I pass, although he looks a bit like Jason Statham there...nom nom

I can't wait for the second season to start!
I mean I read all the books so far so i know how it is gonna go but still I am excited to see the dragons!

    1. I'm glad you pass because I really don't want to share this one. He is my favorite and my best. :)

I'm just about to start reading the books... I just ordered them from Amazon. I kind of don't want to read too far ahead because I don't want to know what is going to happen next.

    2. do iiitttt! it is still worth watching, because you want to see how they realised the books onto screen!

    3. Started the first book last night! I couldn't put it down and stayed up waaaaay to late!!

  2. Oh yes, I love Game of Thrones. It took me a couple of episodes to get into it, with the whole murdering puppies and stuff and general "but why are they so MEAN?!" and then my husband back handed me (not really) and told me to shut up and watch. And I did. And I love it.

I have to say, and this may be weird, but Tyrion, yeah the the Dinklage, I'd totally hit that. Don't judge me. And John Snow mmmmRAWR!

    1. He shall be known in my house (House Jess) from here on out as The Dinklage.

Important question: Is your husband going to make you eat a stallion's heart now that you are pregnant? Are you going to name the baby Rhaego if it is a boy?

    2. Yeah, it was tough going, but I sprinkled some lemon pepper over it and it wasn't as bad as I thought. I did insist on wet naps though, for clean up purposes.

Rhaego or Rhaegina. Either way it's mounting the earth.

    3. This reply pretty much made my day.

  3. Girl can you climb down outta your tree for a while so I can have a swing in those beeeeautiful Scottish branches??? Though I feel a closer affinity to the book Sandor, Rory McCann makes one DAMN fine mean-tempered dog and I will happily bark up his tree all day and all night long..oooo lala
